Who is Archangel Uriel?
Vastely vibrant, full of vigour and sturdy determination, some call him the Archangel of wisdom.
Through study, self reflection and positive input, he encourages us to solidly step forward in our endeavours. Be courageous and go henceforth!
He reminds us that knowledge, wisdom and all that we learn is taken beyond the physical world. Yes he can help us accumulate vast wealth on earth, through scientific and technological mastery, however whilst the coin is useful on planet earth, don’t let it jade our judgment (green greedy money), for it is the golden wisdom within us, which we can carry further afield.
“A gold coin carries a weight, as the gold coin always has two sides to it.
Wisdom is light, light enough you can bring it anywhere!”
What is Archangel Uriel known for?
Wise Uriel
Wise can imply many things, but for me he can really help with technical things, including numbers, finance and all variants of metrics.
He is not shy with mathematics, science, and technical aspects of life. He is very attune with symmetry, sacred geometry and loves to work with anything regarding this, including architecture, engineering and anything in-between to get ‘the cogs going’.
Studious Uriel
Whilst extremely wise, he also wants to remind us that it isn’t all about academic study.
He asks that it’s just as important to put aside a good amount of time to study ourselves and look inward.
Utilising the brain is just amazing, but also utilise the heart, and ‘study’ the mind. Listen to and observe yourself, like a scientist would observe the natural world.
Be your own favourite subject, and see you as the ultimate machine to optimise. Make notes, so good, that it should be a thesis. A thesis maybe someone else might pick up and go “wow yeah, that could work wonders for me”, or “hey that sounds just like uncle joe, maybe he wants a read”.
Put the time in, take your time, relax and enjoy. Build a beautify temple (your body and mind), and sit in it.
Playful Uriel
Some may associate ‘wise’ or ‘studious’ as serious, but this simply isnt the case.
Archangel Uriel works with all ages, and all experience levels.
For example, when I think of his more technical characteristics, I also think of the endless fun kids have when playing lego, or better yet, lego technic! Lego technic, is a reminder that play never ends, and we can always ‘level up’ to another level of understanding. Curiosity never dies!
Without a shadow of doubt, Uriel is a Master Builder. Pyramids, atlantis, and any megger structure you can imagine, Uriel has been involved with.
Once again whilst he has keen connections with megger structures, he is also very family with all the imaginary megger structures we play with as kids. Think of all the imaginary bases we used to build in the woods, or with the pillows from a sofa.
Everything is connected, and to think our curiosities as a kid doesnt form our adult behaviour would be silly.
Building can be seen as a direct reflection of creation. This creation, for the good of all, is why we thrive, and why we are driven to build. To build is to create, and is once again a reminder that Source Energy is within us all.
Afterall, with more houses we can house more people, or more animals. Humans have the very real capability to utilise their surrounds to benefit all. Not all building is bad, not all landscaping is bad for the environment. We don’t need to feel guilty about want to improve the places we live in, we just need to use our awareness to make the best of everything, for everything!
Whilst I don’t think we are quite there yet, I really think humans provide the physical backbone to create better environments for all.
What does Archangel Uriel do?
Archangel Uriel the Archer
Known for his speed and dexterity, I often see him as an archer. This bow/arrow could also be seen like the peace symbol above!
With his bow, he can fire ‘arrows’ great distances, which carries a string of connectivity. This connectivity creates a bridge from source directly to us, when meditating.
This string intensifies, grows, and amplifies as we meditate. He is always there, flying around this string / bridge.
You will receive all the energies through his connection, however having felt this myself, I can say this energy is strong with Christs Light.
“I can bridge golden source light directly to you”
Personally I have aspects of Sagittarius in my birth chart (Moon sign) so I can’t help but feel he is connected to me in this way also.
When visiting cafeastrology, they say “Lunar Sagittarians have a simultaneous need for activity. Meeting new people, going out in the world, or traveling are all important to their well-being. They love open spaces and, in their homes, a roomy and bright environment.” and I can’t help but feel this rings true for me, and also connects greatly with Archangel Uriel.
Ambassador of The Golden Ray
Synergised with gold, and all rays of yellow, Uriel is a powerful creator, inventor and protector.
Yellow is often unified with confidence, hope and creativity.
Christs Light is one of the most powerful rays coming to earth, and is directed by Chris. This energy is pure white, and of an extremely high frequency.
When this beam comes down, for me, it is surrounded by yellows and golds. Often people refer to this as The Golden Light.
This Golden Light is like a protective sheem surrounding Christs Light. It’s vibrance and confidence is just that. Think of the look on peoples faces when they see gold, or have bright yellow clothing / cars / houses. The statement in itself is so powerful, it’s almost untouchable.
Uriel is very playful, however he is also a very strong force. Yellow isn’t a shy colour, its playful, and bold, but not shy.
When you meditate, and see this gold light, maybe give a nod to Archangel Uriel in thanks!
What does Archangel Uriel help with?
He/she can help with anything, as his awareness and development is way beyond ours.
Archangel Uriel might come in during particular time of the day, or a particular time of our lives.
Like every Archangel, his energy is extraordinary and in particular, very vibrant. Personally I see him more of a dazzling chap, with a chilled demina. A bit like a pro surfer coming to the beach to relax.
Think of a zesty drink, or a strong morning stroll along the beach. Vigour and action are often things he helps me with.
It is with this vigour and focus that helps us obtain such wisdom.
Overall I would say he is an incredible ally when it comes to focus and determination, especially when it comes to meditation time. During meditation he is extremely experienced regarding alignment and clarity. Action oriented, he can fire things up into mass abundance.
Travel and safe passage
Along with Archangel Gabriel, I find Uriel to be very unified with travel, and the safety of peoples travel.
Our pace of life has increased greatly. Originally we walked everywhere, and then the privileged few had horses. Now it seems every kid has an e-scooter going 100mph everywhere.
I can’t help but feel that Uriel is extremely adapt at seamlessly darting between different dimensions. Whilst he can dart between different dimensions, once in a particular dimensions, he is very real, almost human like.
Sometimes he may even appear as a stranger giving a heads up, or as a bird swoopy by your car, to remind you to slow down.
A certain characteristic for me, is that he is often flying in and out of a situation in the blink of an eye. I often only notice him once he has completed a task of kinds. Almost just to say “hi, enjoy the rest of your day!”.
Whilst I don’t try to draw too many comparisons to traditional religious texts, from what I understand, he has also helped safe passage for various notable people, when on earth.
On the theme of travel, along with his bow, I do also often see him related to Cherubim. Flight, interdimensional travel, connecting and quite frankly, being an incredibly sweet entity.
Love
Along with his bow, I see similarities with the Cherubim / Cherubs.
I don’t try to get too caught up on the levels of angels / archangels, but I certainly feel connections here.
Part of the masculine side of Uriel’s energy is a facia pink. This is strong colour, yet is of the family of pink, which is often connected with love and creation, through physical connection.
He loves complex things, so I’m pretty sure he knows a thing or two about love.
Love is something for all of us to learn about. It’s perhaps the ultimate goal, as love is so closely tied with creation as a whole. Whilst it would be great if he could just give us all his knowledge on love, part of me feels we need to unravel it gradually. This therefore makes his masculin side a great sound board for matters of the ‘affectionate heart’.
At the time of completing this article, it’s one day before valentines day, so I can’t help but feel there is a connection there.
The Golden Galleon
With the help of a few other Archangels including, for me, Archangel Gabriel and Archangel Azrael, Archangel Uriel uses his golden light, to pave the way for ascension once we past to the other side.
Needless to say, his trong yellow light is like a lighthouse or beacon to pave the way to the higher realms.
Whenever I see his galleon, I always see it with 3 strong masts. This brings me back to the number which I recognise with him, and that number is 3.

How to connect with Archangel Uriel?
After meditating for some time, Archangel Uriel brought a message through to me. This may help you connect with him, or you may find your own way of doing so.
Perhaps light a candle and sit in a comfortable space. Once ready, maybe bring this forward:
“With this light, I am the light.
With this flame I shine brighter.
With this flame, I am with my brothers/sisters.”
Everyone has a slight variant on what colours or feeling they might have associated with Archangels, however I have the following for Archangel Uriel.
What colours are associated with Archangel Uriel?
Archangel Uriel has three prominent colours.
Visual spectrums mean a great deal to Archangels, as they provide a great platform to connect with us.
I see the following during meditation, within the Minds Eye, when it comes to Archangel Uriel. You may see something totally different!
Each colour carries healing and insights.
Yellow
From bright yellow (almost white) to golden, this colour is prominent for Archangel Uriel.
Brimming with wisdom, I can’t help but feel this is a connection with Gold. This gold could be literal money, and finance in particular, however I think it is also greatly linked with being studious. The fact that whilst monetary factors are great enablers on planet earth, it is also worth remembering, our inner wisdom can be taken with us, when we pass over. The lovely gold will have to stay in this material world!
Light Blue
This reminds me of lightening, and the fact that he can travel in an instant. Wherever he is needed, he is a prince of speed, and can jump in at any time to help with our alignment.
In my Energy Flow Meditation, I always see Archangel Uriel spirling around my energy field connected with earth, keeping me connected, aligned and to maximum strength.
Often when I feel a slight ‘wobble’ or ‘trip’ when meditating, before I know it, Uriel has already swooped in to clear some energy, and flies off with a cheeky smile and a nod of appreciation!
Similar with his connection with blue diamonds, he provides extreme precision and clarity when it comes to alignment. Diamonds are good representation here, due to the sheer strength, and ability to be masterfully crafted to exacting formations.
Whilst I do see him in association to patterned energy grids, I would say he is more the type to fly around clearing all the peripheral energies as well.
This strong blue certainly gives him defender characteristics, similar to that of Archangel Michael.
Fuchsia Pink
Whilst somewhat feminin, this aspect is a strong/bold feminine energy.
Archangel Uriel calls out to me. He asks that if people have strong feminine energy within them (whether biological female or not), to call out to him. He would love to be your sound board.
Archangel Uriel Number
For me 3 is a lovely number for him.
Quite a lot is wrapped up in the number three, from the concept of the first number of conception (it takes 2 to make 3).
Three for me is also a very creative number, which he very much excels in, with all his scientific and technical endeavours.
Known for his great wisdom, he is a scroll holder and can directly connect you with the holy trinity. Christs Light is very much part of this.
Also, when two people find love, often their creative circle of energy, goes from 2 people creating that energy, to 3 people. This brings me images of building blocks, and how children from an extremely young age, want to create. Care, and ‘building a home for teddy’ starts at incredibly early ages, with little to no prompts from adults, or society.
What Chakra / Energy Centre is Archangel Uriel connected with?
Resonating with radiances of yellow and gold, the Solar Plexus is one of his areas of influence.
Crossing hands with Archangel Gabriel, the two often work in collaboration to support this charka system.
The Solar Plexus is a great area of strength and often we can feel great power coming up from this area of our body. It is with this great guttural strength that we can make strides in the world.
I really believe we all have a bit of Uriel’s character. I certainly feel part of my ‘star seed’ has been influenced by him considerably.
Intuition is very much an ultimate wisdom, and whilst I feel Archangel Uriel can be quite ‘technical’ he also has a great guttural inner power. That power is not just strength, but also tried and tested wisdom which can be called upon in an instant.
As mentioned before, when I work with my Energy Flow Meditation he very much supports my lower energy field with earth. Spirling around this energy connection like an angel with the jetpack, he keeps things clear and aligned.
What Spirit Animal is Archangel Uriel?
For me, he is the Dragonfly.
Seen from the top, he looks like a cross, as he is so closely linked with Christs Light.
His mobility and dexterity, to travel through dimensions, to help all those that need it, also can be seen in the way dragonflies dart around the place.
When stationary dragonflies shimmer light. This fosters feelings that he is always there, waiting for us to connect with him.
The shimmering appearance also reminds us that he is a strong Archangel. His confident light gives us strength.
Archangels Masculine & Feminine attributes
For me, I see Uriel’s masculine attributes as yellow, blue, with strong currents of facia.
For his feminine side, I see more white, greens and brown. The whites reflecting his connection with Christs Light, greens with healing and browns (earth), reflecting the fact he can feel very much like a real person, rather than abstract. This brown feels also like he can level with people on their frequency. A great confidant and sound board.
