The Spiritual Body

What is The Spiritual Body?

Similar to the way heat is strongest within very close proximity of a flame, The Spiritual Body could be considered the energy ‘within the flames’.

Your Spiritual Energy ultimately emits into it’s surroundings, like a fire heats a room. Everything you touch, and every place you go to, leaves a little trace of your energy.

When enough people make the same journey, or a group make a journey of significance (pilgrimage / mission), they create Spiritual Energy Paths.

Some people generate different ‘levels of Spiritual Energy’ and some people keep, or give out more energy than others. Similar to a persons character, our Spiritual Energy Signature can vary greatly.

There are many types of Spiritual Energy, but as a whole, Spiritual Energy works in parallel with other energies. Where there is a ‘good vibe’, then ‘good vibe Spiritual Energy’ will then situate in that place. What we consider to be ‘good’ is up to us as individuals.

Spiritual Energy is a vast topic and something I explain in greater detail in my Spiritual Energy Explained section. That being said, this section focuses on our bodies, and how our bodies are made up of many aspects, including The Physical Body and The Electrical Body. Keeping this theme running, please keep reading to hear my thoughts on Spiritual Energy within the context of our various bodies, which make us, as humans.

What is the frequency of The Spiritual Body?

The Physical Body and The Electrical Body can be measured quite easily with modern science. Cyborg limbs running through The Electrical Body is near future.

The frequency of The Spiritual Body runs on a different wavelength. Perhaps one day it will be triggering various sensors ‘accurately’, but for the time being, this is considered ‘illusive’ by modern science.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but I would say, that people who practice Reiki or work significantly with Spiritual Energy (weather they know it or not) often cause all manner of funny electrical interference with many types of of digital devices. A classic one is devices turning on and off.

Some say that Electromagnetic Field sensors can pick up spirits of kinds, but I have never seen or tried this, as this isn’t really what I’m interested in.

That being said, I believe that Spiritual Energy Frequencies certainly can overlap with electricity as a whole, and needless to say, have a huge part to play in The Electrical Body.

Spiritual Energy is energy. There are always two sides to the coin, and this means we are made up of a plethora of different vibrations, from higher frequency to low frequency.

When we get injured, or have a bodily problems, various frequencies will then cling to this area, like a magnet. It’s safe to say different spiritual energy will be around a growing tree vs a decaying tree, and the same can be said for The Physical Body.

Practices such as Reiki (or intuitive healing of kinds) can help your physical body heal, by altering the Spiritual Frequency / Spiritual Energy around that area of the body. Think of this similar to using antiseptic on a wound… in essence one environment correlates to the next, so without physically helping a wound, Spiritual Energy can trigger the recovery.

The Spiritual Energy Body is made up of many types of frequenices which are utlised for different aspects of us, as humans. Similar to the way a computer might have all manner of things plugged into it (blue tooth, speakers, microphone, xray etc) the human body has a plethora of frequency bands of Spiritual Energy to accomplish different tasks. Some call these different bands of energies Chakras, or Energy Centres.

Where is the The Spiritual Body?

Our skin provides a pretty definitive end to The Physical Body. The Electrical Body, similar to all electronic devices, emit radiation of kinds, and ‘interference’ of kinds. That being said The Electrical Body mainly has lines or paths which are more definitive within the the remit of The Physical Body.

When I think of The Spiritual Body, I like to give the analogy of heat. If you think how different electricy works to heat, then this gives, in my opinion, a greater idea as to how Spiritual Energy interacts with The Spiritual Body.

If you were to therefore think of the body as a ‘heat generator’, you could therefore consider The Spiritual Body to be made up of vortexes, or centres of Spiritual Energy. Often these ‘centres of heat’ or Spiritual Energy Centres are referred to as Chakras.

Sometimes people mention 7 chakras, sometimes 114. The reality is, we potentially have an infinite number of chakras (think of the number of waves in a sea!). Like many large scale concepts, humans like to group things together in bite sized bits. Therefore, one of the more common systems is the 7 Energy Centre System.

The 7 Chakra System – Spiritual Energy Centres of The Spiritual Body

Similar to The Physical Body having vital organs, we also have spiritual energy centres which sit alongside these energies in parallel.

These Energy Centres correlate with the spine, however I also get indications, there is a left and a right to the energy. If you were to think of two fans on opposing sides evenly distributing air forwards, then this would be a good analogy.

The following is a quick overview of the location and characteristics of the various Chakras.

Crown Chakra

Often depicted with purple, the crown is like a satellite dish. It connects us with the higher realms, and helps us gain guidance from our Spirit Guides.

Constantly sending and receiving information, this chakra is connected with our ‘broadband provider’.

When meditating, this chakra is stimulated / activated. Often people describe this as a pressure on top of their heads.

Third Eye Chakra

In pop culture this is probably the most well known. Sadly often depicted as a bad thing!? Or scary in some ways. Often lazers flying out of it and all kinds of stuff!? The reality is that this is very much part of you, just like your eyes, ears or brain.

Often referred to as ‘the minds eye’, this centre somewhat allows us to perceive aspects of Spiritual Energy. When activated it can give a feeling of pressure on our foreheads. For me, its often at the top of the bridge of my nose or the middle of my eye brow.

I guess if were to describe my experiences, I would say there are 3 types of vision. One is seeing a physical object. The other is trying to visualize how to spell or draw something in The Mind (imagination) and lastly, there is The Minds Eye. The three connect, and often overlap, hence some people can see Spiritual Energy with their eyes open, but also, The Minds Eye can be seen within it’s own realms within The Mind.

The Third Eye or Minds Eye can tune into all manner of things, from the energy around us, to other spiritual entities. These spiritual entities could be on earth, or could be our Spirit Guides in the ether.

Whilst we can fine tune our Third Eye through meditation, the Third Eye can also be susceptible to ‘gremlins’ and all kinds of trickery. Similar to walking into a foreign country for the first time, learning who / what to listen to is quite key here. Some people on the start of their Spiritual Awakening can find this aspect rather ‘wobbly’, as they might get all kinds of energies or entities trying to play trickery with them.

For anyone looking for a Spiritual Mentor then please get in contact via this page. I’m not comfortable doing this yet, but I know people who might be able to help out.

Throat Chakra

The Throat chakra very much syncs with our voice. Not just in terms of how well we can reproduce things audibly, but in terms of our ‘freedom of speech’. This also has strong crossovers with speaking your truth. By this I mean saying things you believe, not just saying what people want you to say.

When we say things that we mean, it resonates with us as a whole, and this is exactly what The Spiritual Body wants. The energy within The Spiritual Body wants to flow with our signature, not a canned version of someone elses.

Sometimes when we feel we cant speak our word, or people are quashing us, often we feel a tightness in our throat (have a frog in your throat).

When we are relaxed, and ‘speaking freely’ our mannerisms are much more fluid. Similar to a finely tuned instrument played by a person who knows it well. The depth, clarify and intricacy can greatly affect what we say, and how we say it.

When we are in optimum flow, our Throat Chakra along with our physical vocal chords can provide a profound platform for resonating our True Self.

Heart Chakra

Being half way, on the core of the body, the heart is considered to be the place where we feel the most.

Once you have cleansed your Spiritual Energy, the Heart Chakra can be tapped into. When tapped into, this creates a strong bridge with the feeling, emotion, and messages from the higher realms.

The Heat Chakra links strongly with our Higher Self and what we wish to achieve as humans on earth. Think of the term ‘listen to your heart’. Or ‘go where your heart takes you’.

Neglecting the heart often feels like neglecting the true self. This can feel like there is no path for you to turn, which is somewhat true, because your not even on your path, your on someone else’s!

Doing things that resonate with you drives positive energy through all the bodies, the heart being at the centre of it.

Solar Plexus Chakra

This chakra to me is often linked with creativity, intuition and broad reaching holistic feelings, that often accumulate to us as ‘knowing’.

Intuition should be considered into the equation here, when people say ‘trust your gut’.

For me, this energy has a solidity to it. I think of ‘stand by your guns’. If you were to clentch your arms in front of you like a body builder, feel how the physical energy accumulates around the top of your pecks.

Whilst some may not resonate with this, I would say a Primal Scream can often be pulled from the start of this area.

When I think of this area, I think of creation, inner knowing, connections with observation and action.

Sacral Chakra

In the region of the sexual organs, think of the libido. This creativity can be in the form of human creation, but can also be linked with your inner drive to create generally.

Whilst the term ‘making love to people’ is somewhat overused and sometimes misplaced, I do also think there is a connection here with the Sacral Chakra. Whilst not always sexual in nature, I feel that in connection with the Solar Plexus, discussion, vigour and general ‘chasing’ is linked here.

As is with all the Chakras, how balanced the Chakra is, will often correlate to the persons behaviour. A person with an unbalanced Sacral Chakra is an ‘interesting’ character to say the least!

With sexuality be largely suppressed in the modern world, this chakra is often out of balance. Looking at the media is a good indication of how overly sexualised everyone seems to be, due to the lack of overall lack of satisfaction. Intimacy and true connection with a person, sexual or not, provides balance here. Unbalance creates wanting, which can generate the unsavoury, and manipulative aspects of human nature.

Base Charka

Near our ‘bum bum’, I would draw parrels to the bottom aspects of maslow hierarchy of needs. Other analogies could be foundations or being ‘steadfast’.

Like many things, this often signifies positive structures, or people around us, who support us. These things / people prop us up, to allow us to reach even further hights.

Without the warmth of a comfy ‘home’ we often cant excel, and the Base Chakra signifies all the energies, that provide us this feeling. As per usual, everyone is different, so everyone will have different factors which they will consider ‘stability’.

What does The Spiritual Body contribute to the human experience?

Simply put, everything has Spiritual Energy. Every feeling that we have, every experience we have, links with Spiritual Energy of kinds.

Spiritual Energy has no timeline, and we can pick up on Spiritual Energy from any time, or place in history, or the future!

That being said, when answering the question, “what does it contribute to the human experience”, then I would say, that our Soul is made up of certain frequencies of Spiritual Energy.

Understanding our Soul, and The Mind can help us understand our own frequency better. Once we feel comfortable with this frequency, we then start to see, and understand how we resonate to a certain energies and not so much to others.

From ‘looking in the mirror’ we can finally go ‘wow ok yeah, cool I like it’. Understanding that you are you, helps you take yourself for who you are, and also helps you feel liberated. Doubts of yourself go, and you can almost chuckle at some of your own previous behaviour, which clearly wasn’t you.

Once you start recognising your own Spiritual Body, you then start to attract people of a similar nature. This often then sprouts new, worthwhile and fulfilling networks of friends, that somehow pop out of no where. You might all of a sudden take a likening to forestry work, or potery. Surprise surprise, you start meeting people along the way, who want to talk exactly about what you want to talk about.

‘Birds of a feather stick together’, and ‘a duck to water’ very much ring true within this instance.

Whilst I don’t want to sound too preachy, but often I see people look at other people around them, and say ‘I want to be like that’. This is not achieveable as people change, so you can never catch up with that change.

When they start looking inwards, and by inwards, I mean looking at the Spiritual Energy and The Soul within them, that is when they start seeing the ‘Spiritual Makeup’ for what it is, within the context of your Spiritual Energy on earth.

What can we learn from The Spiritual Body?

I guess the more accurate question, is what can’t we learn from the Spiritual Body. The Spiritual Body is a direct reflectant of us, as humans and how we are doing.

Our body can cry out through back pain, yet we do nothing about it. The same can be said about The Spiritual Body. Closely linked with The Mind, people for years suffer in silence with anxiety, depression and all manner of mental health issues. They may have nothing, or may have everything… it doesn’t matter, the problem doesn’t lie with ‘external variables’, everything that is within is the cause of concern.

For arguments sake, a person in perfect balance (wishful thinking I know) could walk through a battle field in pure bliss and hand out positive to everyone around them, ultimately stopping the battle. The situation would not effect them, they would be just be them. Their confidence in themselves would be so high, it would be ‘impenetrable’.

As is always the case, throughout our lives, we need to be in touch with our environment, yet, be strong enough to not let it effect us. If some little chump points out an insecurity in you, you may not care. But if it came from someone you loved, you may react differently. Many aspects of the environment effect us differently, but the same thing will always stand, and that’s that we need to be antifragile, yet, we also need to be accepting of healing where we are hurt.

Simply put, blocking and not facing hurt, generates more hurt. It creates lessons unlearnt, which we will have to face down the line. Once these lessons are learnt, simply put, they don’t faze us, yet, when we see them, we can correlate to those experiences.

Ultimately life is an experience, and the way we experience Spiritual Energy is part of our journey as humans. Spiritual Energy has largely been ignored in the western world, and left for fairy tail books and children’s films.

If you were to imagine that your current life is a business, it would be wise to consider all aspects of the business, to ensure everything is in check. Daily, weekly, monthly reviews might be a good idea, and checking in with The Spiritual Body is a big part of that, as is the concept of reviewing your weight and general aches and pains. More often than not, working with others, both peer to peer and peer to mentor is a good way to learn in general. Children also provide excellent checks for yourself, as you really do need to mind your Ps and Qs so to speak (well me anyways!).
