The energy fabric of humans – The Soul
Whilst this is examined by many religions and spiritual groups, I believe that the soul has different levels to its frequency.
Rather than thinking of it as just in our body, I think of it similar to a marble, or a seed of energy, that originates from another location of high-frequency energy.
When rain falls from the sky, often water will form as a droplet. This droplet in us can be seen as a soul, and so can the larger clouds of souls ‘in the sky’.
Similar to a plant propagating, the soul expands and transmutes other spiritual energies in order to grow.
This growth of the soul increases awareness and consciousness both individually and as a collective.

The location of the soul energy
The soul energy can be traced back, and back again, and back again to various sources, potentially, to a central source.
Whilst our ‘blob’ of spiritual energy within us is integrated on a more concentrated level with the mass around us (mind and body), when this energy then transmutes, after physical death for instance, we once again flow, or mingle with other energies of a similar nature. Some may call this heaven!
I would say it’s where we originate from, as light entities (so yes basically heaven!).
Whilst the mind is somewhat limited to our body, and our bodies are physically composed, the soul is a multi-dimensional energy.
Certain characteristic of this spiritual energy means we form ‘droplets of soul energy’ as seen within us, however, we can still connect with our soul higher up the chain.
Some refer to this as connecting with our higher self, or connecting with god.
In short, our soul energies are similar to that of the higher realms, so we aren’t really that different, we are just doing our bit down here for a while.

The senses / interactions of the soul energy
Being a multi-dimensional energy, the soul has the ability to sense beyond the physical world. These senses do often line up with the physical world (taste, smell, sight, touch and hearing).
Whilst some people have stronger spiritual senses, from birth, than others, for me the most common and often most powerful sense is intuition.
Intuition provides a simple, yet profound feeling of confidence which can be applied to a vast range of subject matters.
Whilst the mind will often turn these messages into cognitive thought, I would say the soul within us doesn’t quite get enough credit for our overall progression as humans.
Getting a good maths score, or a healthy bump in the bank account is often talked about, whereas a ‘good day connecting with my soul’ isn’t as prolific as it could be.
In short, cultivating and nurturing the soul increases our ability to utilise our spiritual senses. This in turn helps balance out the soul, mind and body into a more cohesive state. A state where each element knows what it’s meant to be doing.
On that note, letus talk about how we can balance out our soul through meditation.

Meditation – Soul food / energy boost
Through the acts of various meditations, we can still the mind and relax the body.
This reduces ‘the fuzz’ generated from the body and the mind, so that we can listen to our soul with less noise in the background.
When we go for a run, trying to do a mathematical equation could be tricky. When doing some maths at home, trying to juggle 12 balls could be also tricky.
Whilst meditation can be involved with both the mind and the body, slowing it down, and reducing logical thought processes can greatly help the soul connection e.g. don’t think about your shopping list, or when the boiler needs to turn off, or when the kids need to be picked up.

Opening up the connection – letting energy flow
Creating the intention of starting meditation, and doing various practices of meditation, then opens us up for energies that are similar to our soul, to interact with us.
Not only does it strengthen our connection with our souls source, but it also opens our ‘general connections’ with entities of higher realms. Some may call these energies ‘angels’ or ‘arch angels’.
These entities are not bound by physical bodies and thus can vibrate on higher frequencies. They are capable of larger ‘soul bandwidths’ which in turn means they can spread more light where is needed.
Our physical bodies can stagnate when not used as intended. When the physical body is not used, many physical health problems can occur, such as loss of muscle, circulation, heart troubles etc etc.
The same can be said with the soul. With little attention given to the soul, it can stagnate and give us a sense of being directionless.
Our soul plays a pivotal part in directing where to go, so not listening to it can result in feeling like things are pointless.
Through meditation, the soul is boosted, as the whole systems vibration is boosted. Think of it in a similar way to meeting up with some good old friends which you have not seen for a while. It can give you an incredible boost of vitality, both mentally and physically. You feel like you are ‘topped up’. You feel more like, you.
Whilst the ‘technical execution of meditation’ will be described in greater detail in other posts, I will say, as a general rule of thumb, that when you meditate, it’s like opening up a waterfall of spiritual energy.
You collect and align to these rays, through your energy centres. These are sometimes called chakras.
Working with these energy centres enables you to finely tune your connection with spiritual energies in a similar way to body builders fine-tune their muscle groups, to create a balanced body profile.

Many more posts will be created about the soul. For now, let us move on to how the mind interacts with the soul, and the body.
